A landscape in reflection

Following the repositioning of Il Viaggiator Goloso, We were tasked with redesigning their extensive wine range inline with the brand’s new visual and narrative language. The objective was not simply to restyle, but to create a packaging system able to elevate the brand’s premium perception while preserving its authenticity and deep connection to the territory.

The design centres on a monolithic label structure: clean, balanced, and built to work as a recognisable asset across the full range. Within this framework, each wine develops its own character through fluid watercolour illustrations. These aren’t literal depictions of place—they’re interpretive, atmospheric, drawing on memory and imagination to evoke origin and tradition in a contemporary way.

A key detail is the metallic gold horizontal band that runs across each label, functioning as a reflective surface. This motif suggests water and turns each landscape into a mirrored image, adding emotional resonance and creating visual rhythm across the range when displayed on shelf.

The result is a collection that feels unified yet individually expressive. A considered colour palette distinguishes each wine while maintaining coherence across the range. Every bottle becomes a small artwork in its own right—translating Italian food and wine culture into a modern visual language and reinforcing Il Viaggiator Goloso’s position as an aspirational brand where quality and aesthetics meet.
